When we work with your product feeds we simply draw lines between your attributes and PriceShape's attributes it also means that we don't require specific naming conventions when importing your data. Though we do have some limitations within our setup and some recommendations for attributes to include in your PriceShape product feed.

Unique identifier attributes

Unique identifiers are used as a database for your product data.

Link (Required)

  • Links are the unique product identifier in PriceShape, therefore one link = one product.

  • Use a unique URL for each product.

  • All historical data like competitor price history, matches, and indexes are stored on the links. New or deleted links will result in lost data.

  • Do you have dynamic links or need to swap the links, please reach out to PriceShape before you apply the changes.

  • Keep the value the same when updating your product data

  • Use a unique value for each group of variants

  • Use an item_group_id for a set of products that differ by one or more of the same attributes like color, size, gender, etc.

  • NB: PriceShape randomly chooses one of the bundled products as a "master product". Therefore data like availability, products in stock, and quantity can't be shown and analyzed on the product level
